  • Publication number: 20150276524
Abstract: A sensor device for measuring a measurement variable characterizing a rotation state of a shaft portion of a motor vehicle, in particular a steering axle of the motor vehicle, is disclosed. The sensor device includes a holder which can be connected to the shaft portion of the motor vehicle, a magnetic stator portion which is arranged on the holder and which is constructed for conducting magnetic flux from a magnet towards a magnetic sensor and which has an annular radial base element, which is axially supported with the axial front side thereof on the holder, and a fixing element for fixing the stator portion at least in an axial direction to the holder from the axial rear side thereof which is opposite the front side, wherein the holder has at least one welding rib, via which the holder is connected to the fixing element by friction welding.

  • Patent number: 7406884
Abstract: A device determines a torque that is exerted on a shaft, the shaft having a first shaft section and a second shaft section, the two shaft sections being rotatable in relation to one another. The device comprise a multi-pole magnetic ring and a stator support that is fixed to the second shaft section. Two stator elements are fixed to the stator support and each stator element has fingers that project in an axial or radial direction, are uniformly distributed at least over part of the circumference and are interspaced by gaps. The magnetic ring is situated between the fingers of one stator element and the fingers of the other stator element. A second magnetic ring is located on one of the two shaft sections and a magnetic sensor is mounted on one of the two shaft sections.

  • Patent number: 6912923
Abstract: Device for determining a torque exercised on a shaft, wherein the shaft comprises a first shaft section and a second shaft section, wherein the two shaft sections can be rotated relative to another, with a multi-pole magnetic ring which surrounds the first shaft section and is connected thereto, and a stator holder which is mounted to the second shaft section, wherein two stator elements are mounted to a stator holder and each stator element comprises fingers projecting in an axial or radial direction which are distributed uniformly at least over part of the periphery with gaps between them, wherein the fingers of each stator element are interconnected via a magnetic flux ring, wherein the magnetic flux rings have a mutual separation and a magnetic field sensor is disposed between the magnetic flux rings, wherein at least one magnetic flux concentrator is associated with the magnetic field sensor, wherein the magnetic flux concentrator surrounds the magnetic flux rings.
