Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include devices, systems and/or methods of wireless communication discovery. For example, a first wireless communication device may include a wireless communication unit to discover a second wireless communication device according to an asymmetric discovery process, in which the wireless communication unit is to operate in only one first state selected from a searching state and a listening state, while the second wireless communication device is to operate in only one second state selected from the searching state and the listening state.

Abstract: A system and method for updating a security key at a base station (BS) is disclosed. The method comprises the operation of transmitting a handover command from the base station to a mobile station. The operation of incrementing a base station instance of an authentication key counter at the base station follows. The next operation of the method can be calculating a new local authentication key (AK*) at the base station using the base station instance of the authentication key counter and an authentication key (AK). The AK may be previously obtained from an authenticator. The method further includes communicating by the base station with the mobile station using the new local authentication key after a predetermined action time.

Abstract: A method of merging a plurality of disparity maps. The method comprises calculating a plurality of disparity maps each from images captured by another of a plurality of pairs of image sensors having stereoscopic fields of view (SFOVs) with at least one overlapping portion, the SFOVs covering a scene with a plurality of objects, identifying at least one of the plurality of objects in the at least one overlapping portion, the at least one object being mapped in each the disparity map, calculating accuracy of disparity values depicting the object in each the disparity map, merging depth data from the plurality of disparity maps according to the accuracy so as to provide a combined depth map wherein disparity values of the object are calculated according to one of the plurality of disparity maps, and outputting the depth data.

Abstract: A system to protect MAC control messages is presented. In one embodiment, the system comprises a processor, a memory coupled to the processor, and a communication device coupled to the processor to communicate wirelessly over multiple sub-channels in an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) wireless network. The communication device is operable to determine that a MAC control message is protected if an indicator within the MAC control message is set. The communication device validates, if the indicator is set, integrity of the MAC control message in conjunction with a CMAC (cipher-message authentication code) tuple concatenated with the MAC control message.

Abstract: Embodiments of methods for optimizing power savings in a wireless device by maintaining sleep in sub-frames of an extended Listen Window, in an I.E.E.E. 802.16m communication system. In one embodiment, the Listen Window is extended into the Sleep Window, wherein at least one sub-frame remains designated for sleep. The power savings may be used when HARQ retransmissions are scheduled or for VoIP transmissions and so forth.

Abstract: Techniques, at a subscriber station, for assigning packets to queues to prioritize real-time content over non-real time content. Packets with the same connection identifier are assigned to different priority queues. Block sequence numbers are assigned to packets after storage of packets to queues based on priority.

Abstract: A stent device for introduction into a bifurcation aneurysm, comprising a radially expandable elongated wire mesh tube having a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end is expandable into a cone shaped portion of a larger diameter than the proximal end. A web of material is arranged across said distal end of said stent device for sealing an aneurysm at a neck portion thereof.

Abstract: A vascular aneurysm-treating stent arrangement having a proximal end and a distal end, the stent being formed of a differentially expandable material, wherein the distal end is deformably expandable to a cone shape. A deformable enclosed chamber is arranged on the distal end of the stent and nests within the aneurysm. A different embolic agent is introduced into the aneurysm and into the chamber.

Abstract: A stent for application within an aneurysm the stent comprising an elongated tubular member having a proximal end and a distal end. The stent has a proximal portion expandable from a first diameter to a second diameter. The distal end of the stent may be expandable to a third diameter, which third diameter is larger than the second diameter. The stent may be left disposed across the neck of the aneurysm.
