Comments, annotations, or content updates to a collaboration content item performed within a comment room are visible only to the users associated with the comment room. The system can manage different versions of a collaboration content item, having different comments, annotations, or content for each comment room. A comment room may include anonymous comments. An anonymous comment for a collaboration content item is presented with a representation of an anonymous user, such as an anonymous avatar generated based on an anonymous user identifier of the anonymous user.

An indicator is presented to the one or more users notifying the one or more users, via the user-interface, of the request to change the conversation topic. The conversation topic between the one or more users is changed in response to an affirmative act by at least one of a moderator, the one or more users, and a predefined condition.

The shared feed reader may also include a mechanism for receiving a meta-feed of meta-posts, wherein meta-feeds and meta-posts relate to activities of users in the group on shared feeds and posts.

The method includes identifying a plurality of sources of relationship data and extracting from each source a list of connected contacts with a relationship strength for each connection. The lists of contacts from the sources are aggregated into an aggregated list, with each source having a source weighting. The aggregated list is applied to an un-weighted social network to provide relationship strengths between contacts.

Abstract: A method and system for navigation of an audio or a video file are provided. The method includes providing an audio or video file and generating text associated with the file. This may include one or more of: transcripts of audio content, extraction of text from video content, associating text with the audio or video content, including user tagging of the file. A plurality of phrases from the text for the file are displayed in a phrase cloud, with emphasis of a displayed phrase to indicate the relevance of the phrase in a predefined section of the file. The phrase cloud is animated to show changes in the emphasizing during progression through the file.

If phrases are added to and removed from the display (131) during progression through the text (110), then the method includes minimizing discontinuity of the animation.
