Abstract: A platform is provided to respond to data inquiries from callers or users that are directed to one of a plurality of clients or subscribers. A user is guided to a selected client's area on the platform using voice menus and prompts together with speech recognition and database search techniques. The voice prompts are adaptively generated according to the client's policies and the kind of content it offers, and the platform's experience with the user's speech patterns. The content is returned to the caller using a transmission method that is selected in response to voice prompts.
