  • Publication number: 20080020878
Abstract: Device and methods for arresting the upward movement of a continuous loop chain used to power a motorcycle. A roller wheel is suspended in space directly over the drive chain by means of a bracket and associated assembly. The positioning of the roller is designed to prevent the drive chain from impacting and damaging other components of the motorcycle when the rear suspension is compressed fully. The apparatus is designed to fit existing fastener locations on the motorcycle so that installation requires no modification other than the replacement of the original fasteners supplied by the manufacturer.
