    Abstract: A portable slack adjuster lock in the form of a C-shaped spring metal clamp. The lock clips over the adjusting nut of the internal worm shaft of a slack adjuster, and stops the adjusting nut from turning to prevent loosening of the slack adjuster during normal usage. A hexagonal hole in punched in the slack adjuster lock for fitting over and locking the adjusting nut, and the lock is made preferably from banding steel or plastic.
