  • Patent number: 5282793
Abstract: The structure of the Syringe Holder and Applicator provides an inner cylindrical tube adapted to have a hypodermic syringe inserted and held therein. This inner tubular syringe holder is slideably contained within an outer cylindrical tube. A cylindrical coil-spring retainer tube is also contained within the outer tube at the distal end of the outer tube's cylindrical cavity, leaving a considerable portion of the outer tube's cylindrical cavity free for occupation by the inner tubular syringe holder. The body of the outer tube is provided with a trigger mechanism which will automatically engage and lock the inner tubular syringe holder in a retracted position within the outer tube's cylindrical cavity when the inner tubular syringe holder is retracted toward the distal end of the outer tube's cylindrical cavity. The trigger mechanism is designed to, when pressed inward, release the inner tubular syringe holder for travel within the outer tube's cylindrical cavity.

  • Patent number: 4778285
Abstract: An external lubricant reservoir of the type that is replenished by injection is provided in the form of a flexible membrane sealed to a lubricant distributor. The lubricant distributor consists of a membrane-mounting disk and a lubricant feed tube. The feed tube communicates with the reservoir interior through a passage in the disk. The feed tube is designed to be inserted into a lubricant passage in the housing of a joint or a bearing. A preferred embodiment of the reservoir enables the membrane to be wedged between a joint or bearing housing and the underside of the membrane-mounting disk to effect a sealed connection between the two.

  • Patent number: 4639249
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a syringe latch apparatus which prevents movement of the syringe piston beyond a certain distance into the cylinder. The latch element is a rectangular segment of the cylinder wall.

  • Patent number: 4534449
Abstract: An improved method and apparatus for perforating and applying grease through a resilient seal using a solid or hollow needle, said solid needle puncturing the seal with a sufficiently small perforation that, as the device is maintained in contact with the seal and pressurized lubricant is applied, the perforation is hydraulically opened by the grease, and wherein, upon removal of the device, the perforation will self-seal due to the resilient character of the seal material.
