  • Patent number: 4217075
Abstract: A novel loading device capable of standing independently of the tractor and adapted to be pivoted on and off the tractor. The loader includes a frame having a pair of upright frame members. Each upright frame member has a lower portion adapted to be detachably mounted at a side of a tractor. The rearward end of a boom is pivotally connected to the upper portions of the upright members. A materials handling implement is operably connected to the forward end of the boom and means are provided for selectively moving the boom relative to the upright members. The frame further has a pair of spaced apart side frame members extending rearwardly of a cross frame member and rigidly attached to the upright members intermediate the upper and lower portions thereof.

  • Patent number: 4033469
Abstract: A tractor includes a quick attach and dismount front end loader. The tractor is provided with rearwardly positioned side-mounting brackets which are adapted to lockingly engage the lower ends of uprights on the loader. A transversely extending mounting bracket is provided across the front end of the tractor for engagement with a cross frame member on the loader. A stand engages the cross frame member for supporting the loader independently of the tractor. Hydraulic cylinders on the loader for raising and lowering the boom are operated for mounting and dismounting the loader. When the front mounting bracket engages the cross frame member on the loader contraction of the power cylinder causes the loader to pivot clockwise about an axis through the cross frame thereby bringing the uprights on the loader into engagement with the side mounting brackets on the tractor. Extension of the power cylinders causes the loader to pivot counterclockwise for dismounting the loader.

  • Patent number: 3991890
Abstract: A ground-working tool is mounted on the forward end of a boom pivotally connected to upstanding standards on a U-shaped frame having a transversely extending member at the forward end from which a support stand depends for engagement with the ground to support the implement independently of the tractor in cooperation with the ground-working tool. Hydraulic cylinders extend between the U-shaped frame and the boom to pivot the boom relative to the frame. A tractor includes oppositely disposed rearwardly mounted support brackets for supportingly engaging the standards while the forward end of the tractor includes a step bracket having vertical and horizontal portions over which an L-shaped stop plate is positioned.

  • Patent number: 3939997
Abstract: A tractor includes a downwardly and forwardly opening guide support channel extending across the front end for engagement with the transversely extending portion of a U-shaped frame of an implement which also includes upstanding standards having a boom pivotally connected thereto with a ground-working tool on the outer end. A support stand is connected to the forward end of the U-shaped frame and rearwardly extending feet are provided on the standard for engaging slots on oppositely disposed support brackets carried on the tractor. Hydraulic power cylinders extend between the U-shaped frame and the boom.

  • Patent number: 3930586
Abstract: A front end loader with a scoop, where the scoop is pivoted on the boom by a hydraulic cylinder extending between the legs of an A-frame having its legs pivoted respectively to the center of the forward end of the boom and to the scoop with the scoop also being pivoted to the boom. The cross members on which the A-frame is mounted have straight center portions and outwardly flared end portions to space the center portions from the forward end of the tractor. A removable blade is provided on the scoop and is held in position by a plurality of bolts extending through the bottom wall of the scoop into the blade and the blade is provided with an upstanding shoulder engaging the forward edge of the bottom wall of the scoop.
