  • Publication number: 20250346197
Abstract: A vehicle includes a frame and a wire harness system. The frame has a rail extending lengthwise between forward and rearward regions of the vehicle. The rail has at least one web and at least one flange collectively defining at least one channel. The at least one web defines at least one orifice. The wire harness system is configured to route electrical wires along the frame. The wire harness system includes at least one bundle of wires and a bracket. The at least one bundle of wires extends along the rail between the forward and rearward regions of the vehicle. The bracket couples the at least one bundle of wires to the rail.

  • Publication number: 20250350078
Abstract: A vehicle electrical system includes a first sleeve, at least one first bus bar, a second sleeve, and at least one second bus bar. The first sleeve defines a first slot extending longitudinally between first and second ends. The first slot is open along a lateral side of the first sleeve. The at least one first bus bar is disposed within the first slot. The second sleeve defines a second slot extending longitudinally between third and fourth ends. The second slot is open along a lateral side of the second sleeve. The at least one second bus bar is disposed within the second slot. The at least one first and second bus bars are configured to collectively engage an electrical connector that is disposed within the first and second slots.

  • Publication number: 20250346311
Abstract: A vehicle includes a frame and body. The frame has a forward region, a rearward region, first and second opposing rails extending from the forward region to the rearward region, and cross beams extending between the first and second opposing rails. The first and second opposing rails define T-slots. The body has a forward cabin section secured to the forward region of the frame. The body also has an interchangeable rear section removably secured to the rearward region via fasteners engaging the first and second opposing rails within the T-slots.

  • Publication number: 20250346312
Abstract: A T-nut includes a central region, a first protrusion, and a second protrusion. The central region defines an orifice configured to receive a fastener. The first protrusion extends in a first direction from the central region. The second protrusion extends in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the central region. The first and second protrusions are biased inward toward the orifice. The first and second protrusions are configured to extend outward from the orifice in response to the fastener engaging the orifice such that (i) distal ends of the first and second protrusions engage a mating component within a T-slot defined by the mating component and (ii) lower regions of the first and second protrusions engage the mating component within the T-slot transversely with respect to the distal ends of the first and second protrusions.

  • Publication number: 20250349028
Abstract: A method for installing an upfit package onto a vehicle includes (i) providing input to a mobile device to select a desired upfit package, wherein components of the upfit package are configured for installation onto the vehicle via fastening anchors, the desired upfit package defines desired positions at defined coordinates on the vehicle, and the mobile device has a field-of-view for scanning the defined coordinates; (ii) coordinating positions of the mobile device relative to the defined coordinates on the vehicle such that the mobile device outputs an augmented visual overlaying representations of the fastening anchors at the desired positions on the corresponding coordinates on the vehicle within the field-of-view of the mobile device; and (iii) scanning the frame rails with the mobile device along the defined spatial coordinates on the vehicle to reveal the representations of the fastening anchors at the desired positions via the augmented visual.
