  • Patent number: 10723562
Abstract: A conveyor belt drive system comprises an axial flux motor. The axial flux motor comprises a stator and rotor bearing mounted on a stationary shaft. The stator drives a toothed rotor mounted on the rotor bearing. The rotor has a tubular shaft extension that mates with a drive shaft that can accommodate standard sprockets. Rotation of the rotor causes rotation of the drive shaft and sprockets to drive a conveyor belt.

  • Patent number: 10343853
Abstract: A conveyor system with a pop-up transfer assembly for transferring articles off the end of conveyor belt having protrusions extending above the belt's outer conveying surface. The transfer assembly is cantilevered over the reversing path of the conveyor belt from a pivot. When a protrusion from the belt hits the transfer assembly, the transfer assembly pivots away from the belt about the pivot. When the protrusion is clear, the transfer assembly drops, by gravity, back to its home position proximate the belt. A bilateral transfer assembly is cantilevered in opposite directions to transfer articles off the end of one conveyor belt onto another conveyor belt that may or may not have protrusions. The transfer assembly can have powered driving surfaces to aid the transfer of articles.

  • Patent number: 10308436
Abstract: A modular conveyor belt constructed of a series of conveyor belt modules, some of which include retainers for removably retaining plates, such as cutting boards, to the outer surface of the belt. The longitudinal extent of each of the retained plates in the direction of belt travel exceeds the articulation pitch of the conveyor belt.

  • Patent number: 9540177
Abstract: A modular conveyor belt constructed of a series of articulating rows of belt modules having flights formed atop laterally consecutive interleaved hinge elements of adjacent belt rows. The flights on leading and trailing rows are aligned when the belt is running flat, but open up for cleaning as their rows articulate about a sprocket.
