The polymeric material can include Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA), or other polymers such as Polylactic (PLA), Polyglycolic (PGA), or Polycaprolactone (PCL). The active molecule is calcium hydroxide in the range of 0.1 to 5 mg/ml. The composition has a pH in the range of 8-13.
