  • Publication number: 20240068207
Abstract: An anti-tampering mechanism for a fire hydrant that blocks inflow of fluids and materials through the pamper outlet into the lower barrel of the hydrant and to the water main. This mechanism comprises a modular valve, which stem extends only through the top barrel of the hydrant, and is in mechanical engagement and disengagement with a bottom seat that closes the top opening of the lower barrel. Thus, this mechanism blocks tampering with the water in both closed and open states of the valve. Further, the fire hydrant comprises a monitoring and anti-theft mechanism that comprises fluid flow sensors, wireless communication means and electronics accommodated in a housing that is attached to the lower barrel and and protectively enveloping them against tampering, vandalism and sabotaging.

  • Publication number: 20210206663
Abstract: The invention is a water purification system without use of chemical substances. The essential parts of the system are: a chamber with inlet and outlet for flowing incoming and outgoing air into and out of the chamber; UV radiation bulb(s)/lamp(s); pair(s) of magnetic rings; and a skeleton configured for occupying center volume of the chamber from top to bottom around central longitudinal axis of the chamber. The skeleton has inner space for accommodating the UV radiation bulb(s)/lamp(s) and at least one pair of holding elements for holding the pair(s) of magnetic rings around the UV radiation bulb(s)/lamp(s). The purification system comprises concentric configuration to minimally perturb profile and distribution of the incoming and outgoing air, the pair(s) of magnetic rings are positioned in parallel relative each other and configured to induce maximal concentric magnetic flux field on molecules of the flowing incoming and outgoing air.

  • Publication number: 20200300680
Abstract: A fluid flow, particularly water, monitoring device that envelopes the body of a fluid conducting channel, where the inner volume of the device provides sufficient space for accommodating water flow sensors, controlling means on the sensors and wireless communication means for communicating the water flow data to a remote control center. The device comprises fluid flow sensors for external monitoring of water flow in a fluid conducting channel, where each flow sensor comprises controller for controlling and supervising operation of the flow sensor; communication module for wirelessly communicating the signals from the water flow sensors to a remote control unit; and housing for accommodating the water flow sensors and communication module and protectively enveloping them against tampering, vandalism and sabotaging.
