  • Patent number: 5509652
Abstract: The present invention provides a hockey practice alley for developing and improving the skills of a hockey player. This is accomplished by utilizing a low friction hockey shooting surface supported by a platform. The shooting surface exhibits characteristics comparable to an actual ice hockey rink allowing regulation play equipment to be used for simulating hockey game conditions. The shooting surface extends from a first end to a second end, with a goal structure positioned proximate to the second end and one or more hockey players positioned proximate to the first end. The goal structure may be rotatably mounted on the shooting surface for simulating a variety of angle shots while allowing the hockey player to select a stationary position on the platform.
