  • Patent number: 7147120
Abstract: An organizer for a drawer or other rectangular or non-rectangular space. The organizer has a plurality of individual elements that are mutually nested together and can be moved both in the width direction and in the length direction to expand or contract the organizer so as to conform to the dimensions of the drawer or other rectangular or non-rectangular space. Each element has a bottom surface that combines to provide a contiguous bottom surface of the organizer in the expanded and contracted positions. There is also a peripheral continuous raised edge that surrounds the perimeter of the organizer when in the contracted or expanded positions.

  • Publication number: 20050040120
Abstract: An expandable dish drain contains a drawer-like tray within at the bottom of the dish drain. Water from dishes on the dish drain, drains through frontal slots in the downwardly slanted floor into the tray. If additional dish space is required, the tray is drawn outwards, acting as an extended dish drain and a drainage board. In this position water drains through the same frontal slots and collects in the tray. The floor slots in the dish drain permit water drainage only into the tray whether the tray is in its outward or withdrawn position. The tray is a downwardly slanted floor with respect to the horizontal such that in this position the outward side of the tray has walls on three sides to keep water within, the other side has a slot so that if the tray is reversed water may drain by gravity into a sink. The spaced-apart ridges on the tray keep dishes above the collected water on the bottom of the surface of the tray. The tray is removable to expel water in the “walled” position.

  • Publication number: 20040031159
Abstract: This invention, the Expandable Knife Holder, is a container within a container having knife slots that are sequentially and concurrently aligned such that knives can pass into slots of both containers and are thus held in place by the knife slots. By way of adding more knives should it be deemed necessary, the inner container can be pulled from within the outer container exposing additional knife slots. Both containers have slots that are incrementally synchronized and aligned such that when the containers are closed together the knives will fit into the slots of both containers simultaneously, and when they are apart, knives will fit in the slots of one or the other, or both simultaneously.

  • Publication number: 20030209508
Abstract: The Expandable Mug Organizer is a two-tier deck for resting drinking mugs inside a kitchen cabinet. It consists of an upper and lower deck supported by a post at each corner. It is expandable in that a similar two-tier deck slides out from within the main structure such that it extends to whatever distance is required for the complete structure to fit neatly within the kitchen cabinet. There is a means of fastening the feet of the posts to the kitchen cabinet floor such as screw holes or glue pads.

  • Patent number: 6129433
Abstract: A versatile drawer organizer structure for segregating a plurality of items. The structure includes a main compartment and two adjustable side compartments located on each side of the main compartment. Each of the side compartments can slide toward the main compartment or away from the main compartment thus decreasing and increasing the size of the side compartments and decreasing and increasing the overall width of the structure so that the structure precisely fits within the inside width of the drawer. The overall width of the structure can be adjusted without cutting of the material making up the structure and without making any permanent alterations to the structure. Thus, the structure can be easily sized to precisely fit the inside width of a large number of different drawers and many other enclosed spaces.
