    Abstract: A vehicle step system with a rectangular body and a step portion stowable in and extendable from the rectangular body. The step portion has first and second steps with a bi-folding assembly. The rectangular body encases the step portion in a stowed position with the first step stacked on top of the second step. In the extended position, the first step is forward of and lower than the rectangular body, whereas the second step is forward of and above the rectangular body.
