Abstract: The present invention relates to a virtual operating system for operating a terminal protected privacy application to a cloud based service for any apparatus capable of internet interception. Operating in a hidden background and turning any mobile phone into a smartphone by operating cloud applications from anywhere. More specifically, the present invention is a terminal platform operating in a cloud service, as a background hidden service, connecting terminal to cloud profile (Avatar) in a cloud server environment erasing dialed cryptic code from device log. The system enables user to use multi profiles from within the cloud application by code and switch between them by using the multi profiles button (MPB).

Abstract: A tuning system for use in a communications receiver having a varactor tuner includes an alterable, non-volatile memory having a plurality of memory locations, each of which is capable of storing a first digital number representative of a tunable frequency. A signal selector actuates circuitry for selecting a memory location which senses a first digital number at the selected location. A feedback circuit senses the frequency to which the tuner is tuned and generates a second digital number, which represents the sensed frequency. The digital numbers are compared and an error signal generated in accordance with the difference. The tuned frequency of the tuner is varied in accordance with the error signal. The stored number at the selected location may be varied to provide a change in the fine tuning setting.

Abstract: A model railway or road vehicle installation in which vehicle-mounted electric drive motors are supplied through contact with track conductors, including a power supply providing an intrinsically safe a.c. component of such frequency and amplitude as to be capable of breaking down any contact inhibiting dielectric layer of dust, grease, metal oxide etc. on the track conductors, in addition to the normal d.c. component powering the vehicle. An automatic arrangement suppresses the a.c. component so long as good electrical contact is maintained so that the a.c. component is provided only when necessary. For facilitating slow speed operation, the d.c. supply is pulsed with a variable mark to space ratio dependent upon the desired vehicle speed thereby to maintain the torque output of the vehicle motor.
