  • Publication number: 20240055953
Abstract: An electric rotating machine comprising a stator, a rotor rotatable about an axis of rotation in relation to the stator, a rotor compartment holding the rotor, a fluid system for cooling one or more of the rotor and stator and a fluid-guiding member having a front and a back. The front of the fluid-guiding member faces the rotor compartment while the back of the fluid-guiding member faces away from the rotor compartment. The fluid-guiding member comprises a guide for guiding a fluid. The guide extends from the front of the fluid-guiding member toward the back of the fluid-guiding member. The guide is configured to guide a fluid from the front of the fluid-guiding member to the back of the fluid-guiding member upon rotation of the rotor to remove a fluid from the rotor compartment.

  • Patent number: 10816042
Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling arrangement for a gearbox, comprising a coupling sleeve, which is axially displaceable between a first and second position, a first and second rotatable element, which are connectable and disconnectable to each other by means of the coupling sleeve, an electrical machine connected to one of the first and second rotatable element, and a position indicator device for detecting the angular position of a rotor of the electrical machine. The position indicator device also is arranged to detect the axial position of the coupling sleeve.

  • Patent number: 10066685
Abstract: A hydrodynamic retarder device for installation in a driveline to a vehicle, wherein the retarder device comprises: a blade-equipped stator which, together with a blade-equipped rotor, forms a blade system with a workspace for receipt of an aqueous working medium, and a retarder circuit connected to the workspace to control the inflow of a working medium to the workspace, wherein the retarder circuit is installed to be connected to the vehicle's ordinary cooling water circuit. The retarder circuit comprises valve elements to shut off the flow of working medium to the workspace, and a negative pressure generator is connected in the retarder circuit, which is installed to reduce the pressure in the workspace to or below the vapor pressure for the working medium, so that the workspace is thus evacuated of the liquid working medium. The invention also pertains to a method and a vehicle.
