  • Patent number: 5301681
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for detecting and monitoring physiological conditions in mammalian tissue, and method for using the same. The device includes sensors for sensing physiological conditions and generating signals in response thereto and processor operatively associated with the sensors for receiving and manipulating the signals to produce a generalization indicative of normal and abnormal physiological condition of mammalian tissue. The processor is characterized to include a neural network having a predetermined solution spaced memory, the solution space memory including regions indicative of two (2) or more physiological conditions, wherein the generalization is characterized by the signals projected into the regions.
