Abstract: A method for rendering data of a display image for a display unit includes rendering the data of the display image using at least one shader unit, where the at least one shader unit is represented by an effect graph that has a structure and is representative of at least one graphical effect of the shader unit on the data of the display image as input data for generating output data. The method also includes adjusting, during the rendering, the shader unit dynamically and in real time by conditionally changing the structure and/or a topology of the effect graph based on a status of the display unit.
