The method includes obtaining, by a system control processor manager, a telemetry request associated with a composed information handling system from a user associated with a group; in response to obtaining the telemetry request: identifying a telemetry intent associated with the telemetry request; aggregating telemetry data based on the telemetry intent to obtain aggregated telemetry data; encrypting the aggregated telemetry data based on telemetry distribution information associated with the group to obtain encrypted aggregated telemetry data; and providing the encrypted aggregated telemetry data to the group.

Abstract: A trust relationship may be established between a host system and a storage system. An asymmetric key pair including a private key unique to a host system and a public key may be generated. During provisioning of the host system to the storage system, the host system may send the public key to the storage system. The storage system may be configured to record the public key for the host system, for example, in a masking table that defines I/O connectivity for logical storage units between a host system and the storage system. The public key may be used later to validate the host system to the storage system. The private key may be stored on the host system and be unreadable, or may be encrypted with an unreadable encryption key stored on the host system.

Abstract: Techniques described herein relate to a method for deploying workflows. The method may include receiving, by a platform controller of a domain, a workflow portion from a service controller of a federated controller, provisioning a set of devices in the domain to the workflow portion based on a first fit, generating, by the platform controller, a workflow fingerprint based on the provisioning of the set of devices and based on the workflow portion, executing the workflow portion in the domain using the set of devices, making a determination that the workflow portion requires additional resources, based on the determination, provisioning additional resources of the domain to the workflow portion to obtain an updated execution resource set, and updating the workflow fingerprint based on the updated execution resource set to obtain an updated workflow fingerprint, and executing the workflow portion using the updated execution resource set.

Abstract: An information handling system includes a processor, a system baseboard management controller (BMC), and a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) add-in card. The FPGA add-in card includes an FPGA and a card BMC. The FPGA is programmed with a plurality of accelerated function units (AFUs) to perform processing tasks for the processor. The card BMC receives a first indication from the system BMC, the first indication to halt a first processing task associated with a first AFU, halts the first processing task in response to the first indication, receives a second AFU from the system BMC, and reprograms the FPGA with the second AFU.

Abstract: On power-up, self-encrypting drives (SEDs, 150) are unlocked one after another in an order based on the SEDs' unlocking priorities. In determining the priorities, one or more of the following factors are taken into account: (1) the content stored on the SEDs; the SEDs storing the OS are given higher priorities; (2) the SEDs' access history on previous power-ups: if a SED was accessed earlier than other SEDs, then this SED is given a higher priority; (3) whether there is an access request pending for a SED. Such prioritization allows the system to reach full functionality faster on power-ups. Other features are also provided.

The telemetry manager makes a determination that a composed information handling system of the composed information handling systems has been instantiated; in response to the determination, identifies resource set components allocated to the composed information handling system; generates a telemetry model of the telemetry models for the composed information handling system based on the resource set components; and configures the resource set components based on the telemetry model to aggregate operation data generated by the resource set components.
