  • Patent number: 9224331
Abstract: An organic light-emitting display screen includes n×m picture dots organized in a matrix with m rows and n columns. Each picture dot includes an organic diode and first and second driver circuits for the diode. Each of the first and second driver circuits includes a driving transistor connected between a reference voltage and one electrode of the diode, a switching transistor for switching a gate voltage onto a gate of the driving transistor, and a capacitor connected to the gate of the driving transistor. A circuit for addressing each of the n×m picture dots, to control alternately and simultaneously a recovery phase on one driver circuit and a display phase on the other driver circuit of a picture dot, includes as row select lines, only m row select lines, one per row of picture dots, and/or as data lines, only n data lines, one per column of picture dots.

  • Patent number: 8040299
Abstract: An active matrix for an organic light-emitting diode display screen, including: pixels arranged in rows and in columns, each pixel including, a pixel electrode capable of accommodating an organic light-emitting diode on the surface, and first and second current drivers connected to said pixel electrode, wherein the first and second current drivers each include a current control transistor connected between a supply voltage Vdd and said pixel electrode and at least a first switching transistor that controls a gate of said current control transistor.

  • Publication number: 20090096725
Abstract: In an organic light-emitting display screen, each picture dot includes an organic diode (OLED) and first and second current driver circuits for the diode. Each driver circuit includes: a driving transistor connected between a reference voltage and one electrode of the said diode, a switching transistor for switching a gate voltage onto the gate of the said driving transistor, and a capacitor connected to the gate of the said driving transistor, to maintain the gate voltage. The gate voltage of a driving transistor is alternately a video voltage controlling a display phase, or a turn-off voltage, controlling a recovery phase. The driving transistors are controlled alternately, one in recovery phase, the other in display phase, and vice versa.

  • Publication number: 20080231556
Abstract: In an active matrix for an organic light-emitting diode display screen, each pixel is arranged between two row select lines, each line controlling at least a first switching transistor T1, T1? of the first and second drivers COM and COM? of this pixel. These two drivers are arranged symmetrically with respect to the pixel electrode E1 of the pixel, each in the space between the pixel electrode and one of the row select lines that flank the pixel. The column data lines are each produced in the interval between two successive columns of pixels, by knitting by means of points of contact ct1, ct2 between the source-drain metal level and the gate metal level, producing the source-drain electrodes and gates, respectively, of the transistors.
