  • Publication number: 20240177854
Abstract: A method for monitoring remote control suitability includes capturing an instantaneous suitability parameter of a member of remote operating staff. The member of remote operating staff is equipped to remotely control a medical device by a remote control unit. The remote control unit is configured to provide a control signal to the medical device. The suitability parameter is provided by the remote control unit and/or a sensor unit for capturing the member of remote operating staff. The method includes identifying, based on the suitability parameter, whether a reduction in the suitability of the member of remote operating staff exists. In the case of affirmation, the medical device is provided with an alternative control signal, and in the case of negation, the medical device is provided with the control signal.

  • Publication number: 20240153628
Abstract: A method for providing a procedural signal includes receiving an item of procedural information including an item of information about at least one procedural step that has been carried out on an object under examination before the beginning of the method, and an item of information about at least one planned procedural step. A physiological patient parameter is received from the object, which has been acquired via a sensor unit during and/or subsequent to the procedural step that has been carried out. The method includes identifying, based on the patient parameter and/or a change in the patient parameter whether the at least one procedural step has been tolerated by the object under examination. A procedural signal is provided that, in the negative, includes an item of information for adapting the at least one planned procedural step based on the procedural information and, in the affirmative, includes approval of the at least one planned procedural step.

  • Publication number: 20240008833
Abstract: To improve execution of image-based tasks, such as obtaining an x-ray image with a desired contrast while using a minimum x-ray dosage, a method in which one or more acquisition parameters of an image acquisition apparatus are automatically set as a function of the task is provided. An image of a biological tissue is acquired using the image acquisition apparatus for which one or more acquisition parameters have been automatically set. The task is executed based on the image of the biological tissue.

  • Publication number: 20230405823
Abstract: For a simple monitoring of a robotic system that is configured for robot-assisted actuation of a movement of a medical object in a hollow organ of a patient, the robotic system includes at least one drive system, a robot control unit, and an acoustic sensor. A method is provided and includes receiving, by the acoustic sensor, acoustic signals of the robotic system during the operation of the robotic system for moving the medical object. At least one signal pattern is recognized in the received acoustic signals. The at least one recognized signal pattern is evaluated with respect to an associated action flow of at least one component of the robotic system. The method includes checking whether the action flow is an intended action flow, and actuating an action if the action flow is unintended.

  • Publication number: 20230274439
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for determining a change of an abnormality in an anatomical region of a patient based on medical images of a patient. Thereby, a first medical image is acquired at a first instance of time and depicts at least one abnormality in the anatomical region, and a second medical image of the anatomical region of the patient is being acquired at a second instance of time.

  • Publication number: 20230252640
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining scar segmentation includes receiving a medical image of an object to be segmented acquired after an application of a low-dose of contrast agent, wherein the low-dose of contrast agent comprises less contrast agent than a standard full-dose of contrast agent; and determining a scar segmentation mask by applying a trained artificial neural network to the medical image.

  • Publication number: 20230186471
Abstract: A method for providing a specification include receiving a planning dataset, wherein the planning dataset has a pre-ascertained mapping and/or a model of an examination object. The method further includes capturing selection information relating to one or more available medical object(s) and determining the specification by applying a specification function to input data, wherein the input data is based on the planning dataset and the selection information, wherein the specification has suitability information and a desired path, wherein the desired path has a plurality of spatial and/or temporal control points, which control points specify desired positionings for the one available medical object or one of the plurality of available medical objects respectively, and wherein the suitability information assesses suitability of the at least one available medical object for the desired path. The method further includes providing the specification as output data of the specification function.
