  • Publication number: 20220397774
Abstract: It is proposed a method for defining a design of an ophthalmic tinted lens provided with a turquoise blue ophthalmic filter. It is provided at least one optical parameter value that is prescribed with reference to a clear ophthalmic lens. At least one non-null optical power value is determined from said at least one prescribed optical parameter value. At least one reduction value is obtained. At least one reduced optical power value is calculated in function of said at least one non-null optical power value and said at least one reduction value. The ophthalmic tinted lens design is defined on the basis of said at least one reduced optical power value. Methods for defining a design of a first and a second ophthalmic tinted lens are also proposed. It is also proposed a corresponding ophthalmic tinted lens.

  • Publication number: 20220113559
Abstract: This ophthalmic lens for improving vision has a light cut factor CutLED between 32% and 90%, for wavelengths ranging from 380 nm to 500 nm, defined by formula (I), where ? is a discrete or continuous sum operator, ? is the wavelength in nm, lens T % is the spectral transmittance of the lens in % and LED emission is the spectral distribution of a white light emitting diode; a mean luminous transmittance in the visible range higher than or equal to 75%; and light transmitted through the ophthalmic lens has a colorimetric value b*, as defined in the colorimetric CIE L*a*b* with illuminant D65, lower than 25.

  • Patent number: 11137624
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for determining a filter for an ophthalmic lens intended for being placed in front of the eye wearer, said filter being capable of improving or maintaining the visual comfort and/or the visual performance of said wearer. According to the invention, this method includes: a) a step of determining a quantity representing a dynamic sensitivity of the eye or the two eyes of the wearer to a variation in a luminous flux; and b) a step of determining at least one optical feature of said filter as a function of the determined representative quantity.
