The seal cushion contacts a first area of a patient's face to form a seal therewith. The support cushion defines a second area over a face of such a patient when the patient interface device is being worn. The second area overlaps at least a portion of the first area.

Abstract: An adjustable headgear assembly (10) for securing a respiratory interface device (26) to the head of a patient that includes a head-gear member (12) that fits over the crown and back portion of a human head. The headgear member (12) has upper side portions (14) positionable above and forward of the ears of a human head and lower side portions (16) positionable below the ears and along the back portion of the head. A pair of upper retention members (20) are provided. Each pair of upper retention members (20) extends downwardly and forwardly from the upper side portions (14). According to one set of embodiments, associations between procurement service providers and procurement clients are stored, where the associations represent outsourcing relationships between these entities in the operational structure of an enterprise. The associations are then used by the application to facilitate the management of procurement-related content and the processing of procurement transactions. In one embodiment, the associations enable procurement-related content to be created/managed centrally by a procurement service provider and then made accessible to procurement clients serviced by the procurement service provider. In another embodiment, a rules-driven mechanism is provided for routing procurement requisitions from procurement clients to associated procurement service providers for processing.

Abstract: Protective headgear with adjustable strap system and chin guard includes a first strap secured at its opposite ends to opposite sides of the headgear and adapted to extend downwardly therefrom to beneath the jaw of a person wearing the headgear, and a second strap secured at its opposite ends to opposite rear portions of the headgear and adapted to extend forwardly to and in front of the chin of a person wearing the headgear. The first and second straps are connected with first and second coupling members, respectively, at opposite sides of the strap system, connecting the first and second straps together where they intersect. The coupling members are fixed relative to the first strap and are slidable along the second strap, and one of the coupling members includes a quick-disconnect fitting to enable the first strap to be disconnected between its ends to enable the helmet to be quickly and easily applied to and removed from the head of a person using the headgear.

An angled balloon is carried by the distal extremity of the tubular member. The elongate tubular member has a tubular element extending through the balloon. The first lumen extends through the tubular element and is capable of receiving a guide wire so that the guide wire extends therethrough. The second lumen is in communication with the interior of the angled balloon for inflating and deflating the balloon. The balloon subtends a predetermined interior angle.
