  • Patent number: 11880894
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for recommending ecosystem credit tokens based on modelled outcomes are provided. In various embodiments, field data comprising geospatial boundaries of one or more field are received. One or more methodology is accessed. For each of the one or more fields, one or more farming practice is accessed, wherein each farming practice comprises a location and time. For each of the one or more fields, for each crop production period, an ecosystem attribute is generated by applying one or more ecosystem attribute quantification methods to each spatially and temporally unique set of one or more farming practices. Selection of one or more program is optimized for each field based on the set of selected programs being compatible within the field and production period.

  • Publication number: 20240020775
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for recommending farming practices based on modelled outcomes are provided. In various embodiments, field data comprising geospatial boundaries of one or more field are received. Management event data comprising one or more management events within the one or more fields is received. For each management event, a management event boundary defining geospatial boundaries is received, and one or more management zones is determined based on the management event boundaries. One or more ecosystem attribute quantification method is applied to each of the one or more management zones to generate one or more ecosystem attributes of the one or more management zones. One or more ecosystem attribute is selected for each management zone. An ecosystem credit token or portion thereof is generated for each selected ecosystem attribute. The ecosystem credit token is associated with a quantity of raw agricultural product.

  • Publication number: 20150321824
Abstract: A heat diffuser for a teacup is provided. The diffuser is specific to traditional teacups that do not have handles and are made from cast-iron, bone, china, clay, ceramic, or similar materials. The diffuser includes multiple insulated fabric fingers that cradle the teacup to diffuse heat away from the individual holding the cup. The fingers are created by layering one or more fabric pieces and one or more insulating components. The diffuser lays flat on a surface, such as a saucer or table, until the individual engages the diffuser by lifting the diffuser and the cup causing the diffuser to cradle around the cup between the user's hand and the teacup. The diffuser is made to absorb some, but not all of the heat, so that it still allows the individual to feel some warmth.

  • Publication number: 20050278247
Abstract: Method and system for generating a report for use in buyer/supplier negotiations for purchasing a commodity. Embodiments include collecting data to define the technical capabilities of two or more suppliers to supply a commodity to a buyer, collecting data to define attributes of the commodity and the commodity market, and collecting data from the selected suppliers to identify their relative competitive position. Collected data is input into a computer configured to process at least a portion of the collected data and output a consolidated report for use in negotiations. Opportunities for improving supplier competitive position may be identified. During buyer/supplier negotiation, a supplier may be encouraged or required to (i) adopt one or more of the competitive opportunities identified in the strategy report or (ii) agree to adjusted contract terms in compensation for not adopting one or more of the competitive opportunities illustrated in the strategy report.
