  • Publication number: 20240139053
Abstract: A controlled access aerosolized particle enclosure for isolation of airborne contaminants includes a frame defining a patient isolation region over a patient bed. A linkage attaches the framed enclosure to a patient treatment vehicle, and a flexible elasticized barrier is suspended by the frame for enclosing the patient isolation region. The barrier is formed from deformable planer sheets of a flexible transparent material and extending adjacent to the patient treatment surface forming a draped edge around the bed or transport. A low pressure source is in fluidic engagement with the enclosure for reducing a pressure within the enclosure below that of ambient surroundings, such that the low pressure source provides a pressure for drawing the elasticized barrier against the patient treatment surface for restricting airborne particle passage from the enclosure to the ambient surroundings, but limits the negative pressure to avoid substantial deformation or collapse of the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 11467553
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for initiating actions based on sequences of events. In one aspect, a process includes receiving, from each of multiple devices, data specifying an event detected by the device. The events are compared to configured scenarios that each specify a sequence of trigger events and an action to be initiated in response to detecting the sequence of trigger events. A determination is made that the events match a first scenario of the scenarios. In response to determining that the events detected by the multiple devices match the first scenario, a first action specified by the first scenario is initiated. A determination is made that a combination of one or more of the events detected by the multiple devices and the first action matches a second scenario. In response, a second action specified by the second scenario is initiated.

  • Patent number: 11200614
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for using location data to identify and provide services in association with items appearing in captured images. One of the methods includes receiving, from a device, an image and location data representing the device's physical location, determining, based on the location data, that a particular set of one or more locations are within a threshold distance of the device's physical location, accessing, for each of the one or more locations in the particular set, item information that indicates one or more items that are associated with the location, determining, based on the accessed item information, that the image likely shows a particular item that is associated with one or more locations in the particular set, and providing, to the device, instructions for presentation of information about (i) the particular item and (ii) one or more locations in the particular set that are associated with the particular item.

  • Patent number: 11120408
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for surfacing scheduling conflicts and/or for facilitating appointment scheduling based upon conflict detection. A user may maintain user appointment data comprising user appointments (e.g., calendar entries within a work calendar). Because user activity may not be fully reflected in the appointment data (e.g., no calendar entries for routine grocery shopping, soccer practice, etc.), potential conflicts may exist between user appointments and the true availability of the user. Accordingly, user signals (e.g., email(s), location check-ins, etc. associated with soccer practice) may be evaluated to generate a user inferred behavior pattern that may be used to identify a potential conflict with a user appointment (e.g., where the user consents to the gathering and/or use of such user signals). A warning of the potential conflict may be surfaced to the user (e.g., a Tuesday dinner calendar meeting conflicts with routine soccer practice on Tuesday evenings).

  • Patent number: 11093536
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided that enable users to provide explicit declarations that are used to generate recommendations for the users. An explicit declaration is received from a user of a user device. The explicit declaration is configured to influence a subsequent recommendation. The words of the explicit declaration are processed to generate a record. A recommendation rule is generated based on the generated record. The recommendation rule is executed to generate a recommendation for the user. The generated recommendation is provided to the user.
