  • Patent number: 11951110
Abstract: Described are methods of preparing reduced 3,7-diamino-10H-phenothiazine (DAPTZ) compounds of formula: wherein: R1 and R9 are independently selected from: —H; C1-4alkyl; C2-4alkenyl; and halogenated C1-4alkyl; each of R3NA and R3NB is independently selected from: —H; C1-4alkyl; C2-4alkenyl; and halogenated C1-4alkyl; each of R7NA and R7NB is independently selected from: —H; C1-4alkyl; C2-4alkenyl; and halogenated C1-4alkyl; each of HX1 and HX2 is independently a protic acid; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, and hydrates thereof. These methods are particularly useful for producing stable reduced forms, and with high purity. The stability and purity are especially relevant for pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of disease. The compounds are useful for treatment of e.g. tauopathies, such as Alzheimer's disease, and also as prodrugs for the corresponding oxidized thioninium drugs.

  • Patent number: 10916025
Abstract: A 3D imaging system is proposed in which an object is successively illuminated in at least three directions and at least three images of the object are captured by one or more energy sensors. A set of images is produced computationally showing the object from multiple viewpoints, and illuminated in the at least three directions simultaneously. This set of images is used stereoscopically to form an initial 3D model of the object. Variations in the brightness of the object provides features useful in the stereoscopy. The initial model is refined using photometric data obtained from images in which the object is illuminated in the at least three directions successively.

  • Publication number: 20040238382
Abstract: The present invention provides improvements in both container design and product offering for a filing system. The invention provides four improvements over current art in hanging file storage containers. First it provides a unique method of folding that allows a pop-up style hanging file box to be collapsed to approximately one third the size of existing art. Second, the container lid has a unique design that allows it to function in three distinct ways: as a retail package, as an additional storage container, and when slightly altered, as a traditional file box cover. Third, it introduces snap on side rails to stabilize the box and allow for files to glide easily. And fourth, the storage container has taller ends to provide for more room inside and to prevent the box top from crushing the files.

  • Publication number: 20030172041
Abstract: A method and system for assisting an individual such as a high school student or parent with the college application process. The method comprises providing in a container or box: a plurality of General Information Folders of a first color; a plurality of indexing members for the General Information Folders; a plurality of College Information Folders of a second color that is distinctive from the first color of the General Information Folders; and a plurality of blank indexing members for use with the College Information Folders. Additionally, the method enables the individual to correlate the College Information Folders with the General Information Folders in order to organize, file and track all physical paperwork associated with the filing of a college application. The system includes the box, folders and indexing members mentioned above, along with means for correlating the College Information Folders with the General Information Folders.
