  • Publication number: 20240355189
Abstract: The invention provides a method for encouraging a user to perform an oral care routine using an oral care device for a predetermined period of time. The method includes recording a plurality of previous oral care sessions, the previous oral care sessions including at least one oral care session ending before the predetermined period of time has elapsed after the user has begun the oral care session. An oral care time characteristic is calculated based on the plurality of previous oral care sessions and, for a subsequent oral care session, a point in time after the user has begun performing an oral care routine is determined for providing the user with feedback based on the oral care time characteristic. The user is then provided with feedback at the determined point in time during the subsequent oral care session.

  • Publication number: 20240305670
Abstract: An access policy analysis system may use stored policy summaries to efficiently perform access analysis. A request that causes an access analysis of an entity in a cloud service provider with respect to a resource hosted in the cloud service provider may be received. An access policy summary generated for the entity based on a set of access policies applied by an access management system of the cloud service provider may be obtained. An access policy summary generated for the resource based on the set of access policies may be obtained. A tree structure that describes a hierarchy of entities in the cloud service provider may be traversed to identify a parent node of the entity in the hierarchy of entities. The access analysis may then be generated based on the access policy summaries for the identified node in the tree structure, for the entity and for the resource.

  • Publication number: 20230196204
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for agnostic machine learning inference are provided. A computer system, such as a labeling platform, uses a machine learning (ML) model inference configuration to configure an inference environment to use an ML model to process labeling requests. The ML model inference configuration is agnostic to the particulars of the ML platform being used. An adapter maps the ML model inference configuration to an ML platform specific format to instantiate a running system on a given platform.

  • Publication number: 20210209509
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide mechanisms to generate synthetic data that meets customized invariance and diversity criteria at scale using a combination of machine and human activities. Embodiments can be used, for example, to generate a large set of labeled data that preserves invariances that are relevant to a specified target application (e.g., training a ML model to produce a given inference) while expanding both the quantity and diversity/variation of data relevant to that application. In some embodiments, a complex workflow can be defined that combines stages having both machine processes and human processes that provide guidance from assessors to generators such that subsequent data generation is improved through feedback that can include human input at scale.

  • Publication number: 20210192394
Abstract: Systems, methods and products for optimization of a machine learning labeler. In one method, labeling requests are received and corresponding label inferences are generated using a champion model. A portion of the labeling requests and corresponding inferences is selected for use as training data, and labels are generated for the selected requests, thereby producing corresponding augmented results. A first portion of the augmented results are provided as training data to an experiment coordinator, which then trains one or more challenger models using these augmented results. A second portion of the augmented results is provided as evaluation data to a model evaluator, which evaluates the performance of the challenger models and the champion model. If one of the challenger models has higher performance than the champion model, the model evaluator promotes the challenger model to replace the champion model.

  • Patent number: 10982424
Abstract: A liquid quality system for removing particulates from liquid (e.g., storm-water runoff). The system can include tubular portion (e.g., a manhole). The tubular portion has an inlet and an outlet. The system includes liquid quality device. The liquid quality device includes a partitioning portion. The partitioning portion has a first region including a funnel shape with a sump inlet aperture. The partitioning portion also has a second region including a sump outlet aperture and optionally a sump access aperture. A sump region is located between a base portion and the partitioning portion, wherein a flow of the liquid travels from the inlet in the tubular portion, into the funnel, through the sump inlet aperture, into the sump region, through the sump outlet aperture, and out the outlet of the tubular portion. At least one drag-inducing portion is positioned proximate the tubular portion in the sump region and projecting inwardly towards a central axis of the sump region.
