Abstract: A page receiver system for disconnecting an electrical system from a power source and preventing manual reconnection of the electrical system to the power source. The page receiver security system includes a pager receiver connected between the electrical system and the power source. The pager receiver includes a receiver for receiving a page signal and a relay. A disable switch is connected between the relay and the electrical system. When installed in a vehicle, a hood open switch may be connected to the relay for opening and closing the hood of the vehicle. The page receiver security system is operable between a first mode in which a page signal is received by the receiver causing the relay to connect the electrical system to the power source thereby allowing the electrical system to operate and a second mode in which the disable switch is activated to trigger the relay, disconnecting the electrical system from the power source and preventing operation of the electrical system.
