    Abstract: Materials that have a honeycomb structure are provided that are formed, at least in part, from carbon nanotube sheets. Methods are also provided for making these materials, including the expansion method, in which an adhesive is applied to carbon nanotube sheets, which are then stacked and expanded to form the honeycomb structure, or a corrugated method, in which an adhesive is applied to corrugated sheets, which are then stacked to form the honeycomb structure.
