    Abstract: Technologies are described herein for providing a licensing interface for user-generated content. A first interface and a second interface are provided. The first interface enables a user to upload a content item generated by the user. The second interface enables the user to associate a license with the uploaded content item. The license indicates one or more allowable uses of the uploaded content item and a compensation the user is to receive from the distribution of the uploaded content item.
