Abstract: The invention provides ownership identification and manufacturing data of removable or fixed dental prostheses or appliances. This is achieved through the embedding of a unique high resolution 2D Code and 5 digit alpha-numeric identification number printed with a high contrast ink on a translucent adhesive material. The insertion of the 2D Code and identification number is achieved via etching a rectangular indentation in the removable prosthesis with an acceptable Dental Laboratory etching device and securing/protecting it with a clear autopolymerizing acrylic resin. If the dental prosthesis is too small to accommodate the 2D Code and/or Identification Number, an Identification Card is also provided containing an identical Code & Identification Number.
