    Abstract: A computer-implemented sequence analysis method is provided for calculating atmospheric density. The method includes determining an altitude Z within an altitude range band such that Z(i)?Z?Z(i+1); identifying factor A(i) and exponential B(i) coefficients that correspond to said altitude range; and applying said factor and exponential coefficients to density equation ?(Z(i)=A(i)eR(i)7(i), with specified values for the coefficients.
