Abstract: A laser light source comprises a laser array comprising a plurality of semiconductor lasers on a diode bar having bar smile. The laser light source uses angular dispersion to distribute different wavelengths of light from the semiconductor lasers into different directions and a partially reflective surface to retroreflect a portion of the light that is normally incident on the reflective surface back to semiconductor lasers to lower the lasing threshold for those wavelengths. A portion of the light normally incident on the partially reflective surface is transmitted therethrough providing an output of the laser light source having increased collimation despite the diode bar exhibiting bar smile.

The method includes determining first and second images of a first and second person in the photo, respectively. The method includes determining that the first image is associated with a first payment account at the payment system. Thus, if a user is viewing a webpage within an application (such as a WebView application) that does not support popups, the user may be unable to proceed with a particular action. This issue can be resolved, in various embodiments, by introducing functionality that causes a separate browser program to be opened and then returning the user back to the mobile app via a particular URI (such as a deep link URI). By providing this functionality, mobile apps that rely on underlying web content with popups can thus be made to function in an environment in which they would otherwise fail, in various cases.

The method includes generating a photo, including a first and second image of a first and second person, at the device. The method includes determining that the first and second images are associated with first and second payment accounts, respectively, at the payment system. The method includes determining whether the device has received an authorization from the payment system to send a payment to, or to split the payment with, the second payment account. Responsive to determining that the device has received the authorization, the method provides a prompt for receiving a selection, via a UI of the device, indicating whether to send a payment to the second payment account or to split the payment with the second payment account for sending to a third payment account.

A first communication interface allows a user to upload a first content item; in response to this, the first content item is transmitted via a first communication channel to online members of the group. A second communication interface allows a user to upload a second content item; in response to this, the second content item is transmitted via a second communication channel to online and offline members of the group. Transmission via a first communication channel may comprise sending an instant message containing the first content item. Transmission via a second communication channel may comprise displaying the second content item on a group message board. Both interfaces may be contained within the group's web page or may be contained within another web page within the social networking system or outside of it.

Abstract: Systems and methods for securing communication between users possessing user-wearable mementos are provided. One example computing system includes a data subsystem holding instructions executable by a processing subsystem. The example instructions are configured to assign a set identifier to a set of user-wearable mementos set that uniquely distinguishes the set from any other set and to encode the set identifier within a design for the set in response to receipt of a request to obtain the set. The instructions are also configured to provide access to a user communication interface in response to an access request for a set profile associated with the set, the access request including the set identifier as obtained from a particular user-wearable memento bearing the design.

Optionally, the present VISAR system includes intracavity imaging design with converging beams and field elements to, among other possible purposes, image the array. An optional embodiment of the present VISAR system may also optionally include precision fiber arrays. Optionally, the present system may use non-collimated beams to allow intracavity access to individual channels for one or more additional delay paths.

Abstract: A particulate laundry detergent composition is provided having significantly improved oily soil removal activity. The composition comprises (a) from about 1 to 50%, by weight, of one or more detergent compounds selected from the group consisting of anionic and nonionic detergent compounds, and particularly alkyl polyglucoside and poly hydroxy fatty acid amide detergents; (b) a lipase enzyme in an amount effective for oily soil removal from stained fabric; and (c) a soil release polymer in an amount effective for oily soil removal from stained fabric. The laundry detergent compositions is characterized by its ability to remove a variety of oily soils from fabric to an extent greater than the additive soil removing effects measured with comparative compositions containing components (a) and (b), and components (a) and (c), respectively.
