  • Patent number: 6851321
Abstract: A configuration for checking the clamping force to which the supporting and haulage cable is subjected by the coupling configuration for a transport assembly of a cableway system. The coupling configuration has a clamping lever which is subjected to the action of a spring-energy storage device and on which is mounted an actuating roller which rolls along a running surface of a guide rail. The running surface is formed with an elastically deformable region which is assigned a measuring configuration with which it is possible to measure the deformation of the running surface on account of the compressive force which is produced by the spring-energy storage device, acts on the guide surface via the actuating roller and corresponds to the clamping force. In this case, the measuring configuration is formed by at least two measuring units that function in different ways.

  • Patent number: 6741062
Abstract: A circuit configuration supplies an electric motor with a stator and a rotor. The stator has a large number of electromagnets, arranged in particular in the form of a ring, and the rotor has a large number of permanent magnets that are associated with the electromagnets on the stator and are arranged, in particular, in the form of a ring. A rectifier circuit converts the a.c. voltage which is drawn from the supply network to a d.c. voltage. A converter circuit converts the d.c. voltage to a controllable frequency a.c. voltage for supplying the electric motor with electrical drive energy. An energy storage circuit which contains at least one accumulator is connected between the rectifier circuit and the converter circuit.

  • Patent number: 6429554
Abstract: An electric motor having a stationary annular stator with wound stator poles and a rotatably mounted rotor having annularly distributed permanent magnets or electromagnets of alternate polarity, wherein the stator is composed of a plurality of separate stator segments with their own, preferably three-phase current connections, wherein each stator segment is fed by way of the respective current connections from its own frequency converter.

  • Patent number: 6293373
Abstract: The present invention relates to a retaining spring for a housing of a spot-type disc brake, especially an integrated disc brake for motor vehicles, in which a brake carrier of the disc brake is integrated in the steering knuckle of the vehicle, the retaining spring including at least one spring ann extending essentially in circumferential direction and clamping the housing and the brake carrier in relation to each other. In order to install the housing retaining spring in a pre-assembled state on the brake housing without further processing and to fix the outer lining in the foreseen position the present invention teaches attaching the housing retaining spring on a part of the disc brake, especially on the outer brake lining in a swiveling manner.

  • Patent number: 5404970
Abstract: In a spot-type disc brake assembly with an electric friction lining warning device and a bleeder screw, a warning contact plug is supported at the brake caliper by using a holder. The holder is fixedly attached to the bleeder screw and has tongues that abut against the brake caliper. The tongues are a safeguard against the holder rotating relative to the caliper and position the warning contact plug on the brake.
