  • Publication number: 20070284149
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for joining a pipe conduit to a drilling device, expanding device or pull-in device, in which a pulling-force generator arranged in the drilling device, expanding device or pull-in device exerts a compressive force on a pipe conduit, to be pulled in, via a pulling means and an adapter and thereby holds the individual short pipes of the pipe conduit together and reduces the mechanical stress to which the short pipes are subjected.

  • Publication number: 20060156879
Abstract: A cutting device for cutting or bursting a pipeline includes a basic body having at least one cutting or perforating element, wherein the cutting or perforating element discontinuously cuts the pipeline in the longitudinal direction or at least discontinuously weakens the pipe material.

  • Patent number: 6969222
Abstract: The invention relates to a rod transfer device for horizontal driving units for underground trenchless driving, having a storage container and a pivotable gripper, the gripper being arranged in such a way that the orbit of the gripper intersects both the transfer region of the storage container and the drilling axis.

  • Patent number: 6725948
Abstract: In a method of regulating the feed force of a drilling device having a hydrostatic bore hole motor at the end of a linkage provided with a rotary and a feed drive, the feed of the linkage is set as a function of the pressure of the drive fluid for the bore hole motor in such a way that the liquid pressure remains in a predefined range or else remains constant. If the bore hole motor is equipped with an eccentricity for directional boring, for example with an angled housing, then, in addition or else independently of the feed control, directional deviations normally resulting from the linkage torsion can be compensated for by the eccentricity or the linkage being set to a corrected path angle.

  • Patent number: 4630516
Abstract: An eccentric press which can be constructed a single connecting rod machine or a twin connecting rod machine is described. The press includes a stroke adjustment means having a support lever which is articulately connected at the joint between the two portions of a lever arrangement. The articulation joint is guided on an adjustable path of movement and the foot point of the support lever is guided variably in its position on a circular arc, the center point of the circular arc coinciding with the position of the articulation point which corresponds to the bottom dead center of the ram. As a result, a change in the ram stroke does not change the bottom dead center of the ram, only one ram stroke being executed per connecting rod revolution.
