Abstract: A method for controlling medical examinations by means of a patient communication system and includes connecting a patient device to a clinic server unit, and exchanging examination information between the patient device and the clinic server unit. The exchange of examination information can include a retrieval of examination information from the clinic server unit by means of the patient device, a retrieval of a calendar entry, and a retrieval of patient information.

Abstract: In a method, a device and a computer program product for provision of protocols for configuration of a medical apparatus in the framework of a medical examination, the protocols are decentrally generated at a medical apparatus and are relayed to a central radiology information system. From the central RIS server the modified protocol can be relayed to arbitrary further instances via a network. The method employs a consistency mechanism which ensures that a set of protocols remains consistent and uniform given changes of one protocol.

Abstract: In a method for implementation of a medical examination on a patient using a configurable medical examination apparatus, a reconstruction document is loaded into the program controller of the examination apparatus, and the reconstruction document is stored in a basic measurement forming the basis of an intended repeat measurement, and the repeat measurement is implemented by automatic execution of the measurement protocols stored in the reconstruction document with the measurement parameter configuration likewise stored in the reconstruction document and forming the basis of the basic measurement.
