The evaporation chamber thereof (29) is limited by a limiting wall (9, 11) wherein a gas discharge channel (17) is embodied in order to produce a gas jet (G). According to the invention, in order to ensure that the gas burner operates in a reliable manner, the limiting wall of the evaporator (7) is at least double and comprises an inner wall (9) and an outer wall (11).
