    Abstract: A matrix tray feeder includes a matrix tray platform, which includes a pan for receiving a component, and an adjustment mechanism connected to the pan. The adjustment mechanism is activatable to move the pan from a first position to a second position while maintaining a surface of the pan in one of an infinite number of substantially parallel planes. A position indicator is positionable adjacent to the surface of the pan, and includes an arrangement for indicating when the component is in a desired position during the activation of the adjustment mechanism.
