  • Publication number: 20210259782
Abstract: PROTECTED NEEDLE WITH HIGH ULTRASOUND VISIBILITY FOR PERFORMING ULTRASOUND-GUIDED PERCUTANEOUS ELECTROLYSIS OR NEUROMODULATION TECHNIQUES, consisting of a dry puncture or acupuncture needle formed by a conductive metallic grip (2), coupled to the handle that connects it to the device that generates the electric current to be applied, and a body (3), also conductive and metallic, in the form of a cylindrical, thin and long rod, of variable length among 30, 40, 50, 60, 75 and 100 mm, with the blunt tip (4), where the body (3), and preferably also the grip (2), are both made of galvanized steel with high ultrasound visibility and in that, in addition, said body (3) is provided with a biocompatible electrically insulating protection layer (5) such as a Teflon coating, which covers practically its entire length, except for a working segment (6) of variable length (l) before the blunt tip (4).

  • Patent number: 4051782
Abstract: A mechanism for zonal adjustment of the blade of an ink fountain with respect to the fountain roller which is made up of adjustable subassemblies, each of which includes an adjusting pin secured to a slide. Adjacent each slide is a support member carrying a cylindrical adjusting member having an eccentric crank for engaging and positioning the slide. The adjusting member has a radially extending adjusting arm and a positive detent, the arm having a calibrated scale including a reference mark which is phased with the detent. Each pin is threaded into its slide so that when the adjusting arms are in detented reference position, the blade may be preliminarily adjusted, zone by zone, into accurate reference spacing with respect to the blade by turning the pins in one direction or the other in each of the subassemblies. The blade is finally adjusted in each zone by movement of the corresponding arm with respect to the calibrated scale to establish a running condition.

  • Patent number: 4033261
Abstract: A drive connection between a sleeve on the printing cylinder of a printing press and a hub on the associated driving gear, the hub being freely telescoped over the surface of the sleeve and the sleeve and hub having radially opposed grooves occupied by a key in the form of an entrainer. The entrainer includes two complimentary wedge portions which are mated along a substantially radially extending plane which is arranged at a shallow angle to the cylinder axis. The entrainer presents parallel lateral surfaces which register with the groove in the hub while only one of the wedge portions registers with the groove in the sleeve.
