    Abstract: The present subject matter relates to an extraction procedure of unfractionated heparin from camel intestinal mucosa. The method includes a successful pretreatment procedure to obtain a maximum amount and good quality of mucosa from mast cells in camel intestines. The present disclosures addresses the issues with other heparin sources by providing a very potent unfractionated heparin derived from the intestinal mucosa of camels that are well-adapted desert animals with unique body biochemistry and physiology.
