  • Patent number: 10344538
Abstract: A clamp for supporting an apparatus, such as a pump, a motor, or other mechanism to be lowered into a drill hole includes two coupling halves connected together using a bolts and nuts. Each half has a semicircular interior that forms a cylinder when two halves are connected to each other. Protrusions in the semi-circular interiors mate with indentations in the pump wall to support the pump. Chains or other devices attach to eyelet bolts or to a pivoting bail affixed on top of the coupling halves so that the clamp and the pump may be raised or lowered by external lifting apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10106370
Abstract: A cable drum transportation and handling apparatus for mounting, transporting and handling large cable drums includes a supporting structure, which supporting structure may be mounted on a truck or trailer. The apparatus includes stabilizers mounted to the supporting structure, a hydraulics control system and an operator station, a gravity drive having a drive wheel tire for turning the drum to spool cable in or out, and a hydraulic drive system for the gravity drive. An adjustable mechanism ensures firm connection between the tire and a cable drum, when a drum is mounted on the apparatus. A lever arm or bolt pattern puts more or less tension on the gravity drive, for engagement, by moving the drive up and down. Opposing hydraulically-operated lift arms pivotally mounted on an upper part of the supporting structure may be pivoted outwardly and rearwardly. The lift arms laterally close to grasp the drum.
