  • Patent number: 5806711
Abstract: There is provided a nurser liner that facilitates stacking and nesting of the liner while maximizing liner capacity. In particular, it permits a plurality of the liners to be contained within a container having limited internal space while allowing the liners to de-nest properly and individually from the container. The nurser liner includes a rim that is located at one end of the liner and a step that is located a predetermined distance from the rim. In addition, the outer walls of the liner are slightly tapered inward from the rim. The step and the tapered outer walls insure uniform spacings between nested liners for easy dispensing, optimal spacing between liners and maximum liner capacity.

Date of Patent: September 15, 1998
Assignees: Playtex Products, Inc., Tetra Laval Holdings & Finance S.A.
    Inventors: Emanuel P. Morano, Anthony E. Flecknoe-Brown
  • Patent number: 5706961
Abstract: There is provided a nurser liner having a pair of removable textured tabs for mounting the nurser liner to the rim of a nurser container. The tabs have a textured surface formed by piercing through each tab so that the non-pierced side appears smooth. The tabs have a three segment pattern such that a smooth, non-textured center portion is located between textured portions on either side of the center portion. A plurality of pierced holes go through the tab to form the pattern for improved gripping and handling.

  • Patent number: 5542670
Abstract: A drinking cup has a cover which is formed with a drinking spout at one side and a vent at the other. Elements extend down from under the spout and the vent. A flow control element is provided and made of elastomeric material having a pair of spaced cavities on one side, each cavity having a floor at the bottom thereof. The cavities receive in frictional engagement respectively the lower ends of the elements. This engagement supports the flow control element with the floor of each cavity in sealed relation to its element. Each floor has a passage which is normally closed but opens on the occurrence of a pressure differential on opposite sides of the floor.

  • Patent number: 5269426
Abstract: A baby bottle feeding assembly is disclosed which includes a hood type enclosure for the nipple, when the bottle is not in use. During periods of bottle use, the hood is stored over the opposite end of the bottle. In order to positively retain the hood in either its nipple protecting or storage condition, the hood includes raised beads, which cooperatively engage complementary protrusions at either end of the bottle so as to provide a positive locking engagement. This engagement may be manually defeatable when it is desired to move the hood to its other desired position on the bottle. When the hood is locked in the storage condition, it is substantially co-extensive with the bottom region of the bottle, so as not to significantly extend beyond the bottle proper.
