    Abstract: Polymer alloys having improved toughness comprise a blend of 20 to 30 weight percent of a polyamide; 15 to 30 weight percent of a rubbery polymer and 60 to 40 weight percent of a vinyl polymer containing 1 to 10 weight percent of a vinyl isocyanate monomer. Preferred isocyanate monomers are m- or p-isopropenyl-alpha, alpha dimethylbenzyl isocyanate.
