  • Publication number: 20250237578
Abstract: A method of measuring motion of a wheel comprises providing a first acceleration sensor (108) and a second acceleration sensor (110) configured to measure acceleration in respect of a first measurement axis and a second measurement axis. The second measurement axis is substantially orthogonal to the first measurement axis. First accelerations in respect of the first and second measurement axes are measured (204) and then a predetermined period of time is awaited (220) before second accelerations in respect of the first and second measurement axes are made (204). An estimate of change of acceleration is then calculated (206-210) by formulaically combining the first and second accelerations measured.

  • Patent number: 11541701
Abstract: An auto-location system for auto-locating a wheel in a vehicle comprises: a sensor module which comprises a sensor adapted for sensing a physical property of the tire when mounted in a tire or on an inner surface of the tire of the wheel, an acquisition system adapted for determining when the part of the tire where the sensor is mounted hits the ground, and forms a contact patch with the ground, by analyzing data from the sensor, and a communication system adapted for transmitting a wireless message, in which a unique identifier is embedded, a transmit delay after the part of the tire where the sensor is mounted hits the ground.

  • Patent number: 10009047
Abstract: A driver circuit for driving a passive resonant antenna-circuit, the latter comprising an inductance (L) and a capacitance (C) in parallel. The driver circuit comprises a first and a second interface node (Ni1, Ni2) connectable to the resonant antenna circuit, and comprises control circuitry for monitoring an oscillating voltage signal (Vosc) provided by the resonant antenna circuit, and for extracting timing information and amplitude information of said oscillating voltage signal (Vosc), and excitation circuitry for generating an excitation signal based on the measured timing and amplitude information, and for applying the excitation signal to the antenna circuit.
