    Abstract: A reinforced opening for sail cloth, tarpaulins, tent material, awnings and the like sheet material comprising a bead surrounding the opening comprised of a rigid ring positioned about the opening and enfolded within material bounding the opening and a liner positioned within the enfolded ring folded symmetrically outward over the bead at opposite sides into clinching engagement with the surface of the material outwardly of the bead.
