In certain embodiments, individual voices may be selectively displayed, muted, or attenuated in order to focus a practice session or performance on particular parts. In one embodiment, atomic music segments and their associated lyrics are sequentially highlighted as the music progresses, providing a convenient means for reviewing or practicing music.
