Abstract: Systems and methods for conducting payment network-less transactions are disclosed. A method may include: receiving, by a computer application executed on an electronic device, payment card information for a payment card; receiving by the computer application, a rule for the payment card from an issuer backend, the issuer backend associated with an issuer of the payment card; communicating, by the computer application and to a merchant point-of-sale device, an indication that a transaction for a good or service will be conducted without using a payment network; receiving, by the computer application and from the merchant point-of-sale device, transaction details for the transaction; decisioning, by the computer application, the transaction by applying the rule to the transaction details; communicating, by the computer application, approval to the merchant point-of-sale device in response to approving the transaction; and sending, by the computer application, payment advice to the issuer backend.

Abstract: Systems and methods for network-based delivery of dynamic content are disclosed. A method may include: receiving, by a network computer program, a location for a customer electronic device associated with a customer; determining, by the network computer program and from the location, that the customer is within a predetermined distance of a merchant; requesting, by the network computer program, content for one or more payment card issued by an issuer to the customer from an issuer backend for the issuer; receiving, by the network computer program, the content; and communicating, by the network computer program, the content to a merchant backend for the merchant. The merchant backend receives, from a merchant point of sale device, payment card information for one of the payment cards, retrieves the content for the payment card, and causes the merchant point of sale device to display the content on a display.

Abstract: Systems and methods for conversational transacting are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method may include: (1) receiving, by a merchant computer program, a payment instrument from a customer; (2) initiating, by the merchant computer program, a session with the customer by providing a session identifier for the session to a customer electronic device; (3) during the session: receiving, by the merchant computer program, a plurality of transactions from the customer, each with the session identifier; and authorizing, by the merchant computer program, each of the plurality of transactions with an issuer of the payment instrument; and (4) at an end of the session: aggregating, by the merchant computer program, the transactions that were authorized by the issuer; and submitting, by the merchant computer program, the aggregated transactions to the issuer for payment.
