Patent number: 12522032Abstract: This present invention relates to an anti-skid device adapted to being mounted on tyres of the vehicle wheels to provide traction and wheel to ground contact enhancement in snowy and icy conditions. The device includes a central hub from which protrudes radially three arms which are extended at the outer end by anti-slip components transversally embracing the tread of the tyre. The inner area of the anti-slip components in contact with the tread is designed to increase friction to prevent circumferential displacement of the anti-skid device. When the car is moving a horizontal depression is formed at tyre-ground contact and this provokes a change in wheel radius. Integrated springs follows the depression by moving radially inwards to ensure that the anti-skid device stays attached to the tyre even when an anti-slip component is at the ground contact point at the bottom of wheel. A fastening handle integrated into the hub secures the device on the wheel by simultaneously tightening the arms radially inwards.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2020Date of Patent: January 13, 2026Assignee: AFFIN ASInventors: Christian Abry, Emil Abry, Crostopher John Kavanagh, Harald Furu

Publication number: 20250282188Abstract: This present invention relates to an anti-skid device adapted to being mounted on tyres of the vehicle wheels to provide traction and wheel to ground contact enhancement in snowy and icy conditions. The device includes a central housing (2) from which protrudes radially three arms (3) which are extended at the outer end by anti-slip components (10) transversally embracing the tread of the tyre. The anti-skid device has a locking mechanism that consists of a locking element (24) with teeth engaging with teeth on the inner circumference of the housing (2). A handle 16 integrated into the hub (4) interfaces with the locking element (24) to securely maintain the locked status when the device is mounted onto the wheel.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 24, 2023Publication date: September 11, 2025Inventors: Emil ABRY, Christopher Jhon KAVANAGH, Christian ABRY, Harald FURU

Publication number: 20250222906Abstract: This present invention relates to a wheel clamp adapted to being mounted on tyres of the vehicle wheels to prevent removal of the vehicle. The device includes a central housing (2) from which protrudes radially multiple arms (3) which are extended at the outer end by anti-slip components (10) transversally embracing the tread of a tyre. The wheel clamp has a first locking mechanism that consists of a locking element (24) with teeth engaging with teeth on the inner circumference of the housing (2). The wheel clamp has second locking means (30) that interfaces with a handle (16) when the device is mounted onto the wheel.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2023Publication date: July 10, 2025Inventors: Christopher John KAVANAGH, Eivind BRYNE, Harald FURU, Emil ABRY, Christian ABRY

Patent number: 11406200Abstract: A rocking device provided with a fastening means (9) for mounting to for example a baby buggy to create an automatic rocking movement of the baby buggy. It comprises a rotating, asymmetrical weight (14) driven by an electric moto (24). The motor and weight are suspended in a rigid fastening bracket. The fastening bracket (13) is fastened to a first side of a vibration dampening connection element (3) of an at least partly soft material. The fastening means is fastened to the other side of the vibration dampening connection element (3), such that the movement of the weight is transmitted through the fastening bracket (13), via the vibration dampening connection element (3) and the fastening device, to the baby buggy. The fastening bracket with motor a weight is enclosed by an outer cover (1, 2) which is not in contact with the fastening bracket, motor or weight.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2018Date of Patent: August 9, 2022Assignee: Babliss ASInventors: Ståle Flataker, Emil Abry, Christopher Kavanagh, Christian Abry, Bård Sagstad
