  • Patent number: 12525796
Abstract: A method of power distribution in an electronic control system at an electrically powered mining or construction machine. A line converter is selectively connectable to a mains power source and an on-board battery and/or fuel cell. Predefined energy supply modes are provided, defining how energy is to be distributed by predefined control sequences defining start-up sequences for initiating, shutdown sequences for terminating, and handover sequences for changing from a first to a second energy supply mode. In response to operator selection of activation of a specific energy supply mode is executed the predefined control sequence for start-up of, or if already operating in another mode handover to, the operator selected specific energy supply mode, or in response to operator selection of de-activation of a specific energy supply mode, the predefined shutdown sequences for terminating the operator selected specific energy supply mode.

  • Publication number: 20250360881
Abstract: A vehicle rack system for adjustably attaching equipment to a vehicle can include a base, an upper saddle, and a telescoping upright. The base can be configured to be removably coupled to the vehicle. The upper saddle can be spaced apart from the base and coupled to a cross-rail. The telescoping upright can extend from the base to the upper saddle. The telescoping upright can include a first arm, a telescoping arm, and a locking system. The telescoping arm can be slideably disposed within the first arm. The locking system can be configured to releasably couple the first arm and the telescoping arm. When the locking system is actuated, the telescoping arm can slide relative to the first arm to adjust a distance between the cross-rail and the base.

  • Publication number: 20250109962
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for operating a computer-based system (10) in a vehicle (2), for determining an updated and optimized forecast relating to at least a weather or a road condition of a road section (3) in a network (1) of roads, said method comprising the following steps: providing a first set of data (6) from a remote provider (4) of information related to at least a weather or a road condition in at least said road section (3), said first set of data (6) corresponding to said forecast; transmitting said first set of data (6) to said vehicle (2); and providing a second set of data (9) based on at least the operation of the vehicle (2) or present conditions in the surroundings of the vehicle (2). Furthermore, said method comprises the steps of: combining, in said computer-based system (10), said first set of data (6) with said second set of data (9) for obtaining said updated and optimized forecast; and providing the updated and optimized forecast to a user.
